Our Story

BlackLine Swim was founded by brothers Nolan and Kilian — two lifelong swimmers with a deep love for the water and a passion for refining their craft. From an early age, they weren’t just focused on swimming harder, but on swimming smarter — always looking for ways to improve efficiency, speed, and endurance.

Along the way, they kept running into the same issue: most swim paddles were clunky, too flexible, or placed unnecessary strain on the shoulders — gear meant to help, but often holding them back.

That’s when they came across the Velocité swim paddles — a sleek, lightweight, high-performance design that addressed the frustrations they (and many others) had faced for years. BlackLine Swim was built from the desire to bring this better solution to swimmers everywhere, helping athletes of all levels unlock more power, endurance, and flow in the water.
